As an artist, my work is an exploration of texture and color using an eclectic mix of fabric. Combining silk, cotton, sheeers, wool and home decorator fabrics I strive to create pieces that invite the viewer to engage with their tactile qualities and emotional resonance.
My work tells a story, weaving together personal and cultural narratives. The delicae nature of silk threads contrast beautifully with the robust texture of wool, symbolizing the interplay between fragility and strength that exists in our lives. I am particularly drawn to sheer fabrics which allow light to filter through, creating an etheral quality that evokes a sense of connection.
My designs are not mearly decorative; they are an invitation to explore the spaces we inhabit. By incorporating home decorating fabrics, I aim to blur the boundries between art and daily life, encouraging a dialogue about the environments we create for ourselves, Each piece is a reflection of my belief that art should be accessible and woven into the fabric of our everyday expeiences. Through my work, I hope to inspire others to appreciate the beauty and history of textile art and stories they carry.
